Each January, the entire industry of makers of musical instruments, pro audio gear, and more gather in Anaheim, CA to show off their latest and greatest stuff at an event called the NAMM Show. While nearly every musician in the world would love to go see the amazing collection of gear and the musicians who use it, NAMM is not open to the public. It's a trade show for the manufacturers and dealers in our industry, and despite what you may have heard, it's a business event first and foremost.
However, Takamine, along with our US distribution partners ESP Guitars, has plenty of events happening during the show that will be enjoyed by both the people who are physically visiting our booth, and those who are at home. We will be featuring a number of Takamine artists who are performing live, and we will be grabbing video clips of performances and interviews that will be uploaded immediately afterwards here at the Takamine site.
What follows is a schedule of Takamine artist performances at NAMM, which starts on Thursday January 19. For NAMM attendees, we welcome you to come by and see these great musicians live and in person, upstairs onn the second level at Booth 208A/B. For the rest of you, keep an eye on the front page here at esptakamine.com, where video clips will be posted during the show as they become available. We will feature our performing artists as well as other Takamine players and product spotlights.
