The Accidentals Release "Memorial Day"

The Accidentals Release "Memorial Day"

We're just about a week out from Memorial Day, a holiday that allows us to reflect on members of the US armed forces who gave their lives for our country. It's also a nice time for friends and family to enjoy each other's company on what's often a lovely spring day, with plenty of backyard barbecues and acoustic jams happening across the nation. For The Accidentals, it's also the perfect moment to release their latest single, called "Memorial Day" (on Sony Music Entertainment).

The song perfectly encompasses the light and airy vibe of this time of year, which is something we've come to expect from Takamine-playing members of this Michigan-based band of singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Katie Larson and Savannah Buist.

We were fortunate to have them grace our stage in the Takamine booth at the 2017 NAMM Show. Katie and Sav have played a number of Takamine models, but they are most closely associated with the EF508KC, and P5DC-WB. Both of these gorgeous guitars are handcrafted at our Pro Series facility in Japan. The EF508KC is an NEX body style that features figured Hawaiian koa on its top, back and sides, while the P5DC-WB is a traditional cutaway dreadnought with spruce top and rosewood back/sides, in a beautiful Whiskey Brown Gloss finish. Both guitars feature Takamine's acclaimed electronics that allow bands like The Accidentals to take their acoustic sound straight to the stage.

"Memorial Day" is available now... see the links below to find it and buy it!
