    Check out this terrific acoustic version of Nashville-based singer-songwriter Karla Davis’ tune "You're Wearing Me Out". Accompanying Ms. Davis and her circa-2008 Takamine TAN76 is the great Gordon Kennedy (her producer), as well as Taylor Dukes and Mark Vikingstad singing background. This little slice of R&B is yet another example of why Karla Davis reigns supreme as one of our favorite artists.

    The new guitar in Karla’s life is her Takamine CP400NYK, as shown in the photo above. She fell in love with the solid cedar topped, Hawaiian Koa slot-head guitar the second she strummed it. There’s just something about those 12-fret-to-the-body New Yorkers!
