Takamine

For years I’ve always used hard tension strings, with varying degrees of satisfaction. I have many packs of Savarez, D’Addario, and Augustine. Some medium tension as well, EJ45 and Augustine Reds. All are great strings, not knocking any of them, but I urge everyone to try EJ43 from D’Addario or the Augustine Black low tension strings. They are simply amazing on my Takamine H8 and I’m experimenting with them on my Spanish guitar also. 

Give low tension a try. The strings play differently and tuning them is a breeze.
