Mitch Rossell Rises with "Son"

Mitch needed a new acoustic guitar. He wrote songs for a living and wanted a six-string that inspired – one with some songs in it.

It would also be nice if that guitar could somehow fill a massive venue with true acoustic tone, because one of his songs might become a big hit for Garth Brooks, who might then ask him to be opening act for his stadium tour – just him and his guitar.

It could happen.

The songwriter is Mitch Rossell. The number-one hit he wrote for Garth Brooks: "Ask Me How I Know" from Garth’s 10th album Gunslinger. The shows Mitch was asked to open for: the 2022 spring and summer dates of the Garth Brooks Stadium Tour. And the guitar Mitch would walk out on stage with: the Takamine CRN-TS1 slot-head, slope shoulder dreadnought from Takamine’s sonorous Thermal Top Series. Like all TT Series guitars, it features a solid spruce top that's been baked in a vacuum environment before being put to use in the guitar’s construction. The result is the highly-desirable tone that a musician expects from a much older instrument in a brand new guitar that offers all the reliability and stage-worthiness that professional performers expect from Takamine.

So, we thought we knew Mitch Rossell and we thought we knew his story, until a recent episode of America’s Got Talent revealed the heart and soul of a Mitch Rossell that we didn’t yet know but were glad to find out... especially so close to Father's Day.

Watch and listen to Mitch laying it out by performing his autobiographical "Son" on national TV... the three long seconds of lit-fuse silence that followed... and then the ringing blast of a live audience being detonated. To hear more of this serious talent, visit his official site.

Not a country artist I've heard before! Will have to keep an eye out! Nice work!

Wow, Mitch Rossell's rise in the music industry is truly inspiring! It's amazing to see how his talent and hard work paid off, from writing a number-one hit for Garth Brooks to being asked to open for him on a stadium tour. And now, he's even showcasing his heartfelt songs on America's Got Talent. It's clear that Mitch is a dedicated and gifted songwriter. I can't wait to see what he accomplishes next in his career. Check how I build closet thanks.
