Disclaimer I'm bi-polar and have the propensity to ramble so your patients is appreciated!  When someone comes up and ask, "Do you play Takamine guitars?", I say, "My first acoustic was an 1986 F349 Solid Mahogany Dred. bought at the long since defunct Campbell's Music in High Point, NC.  My neighbor long time friend, Alan Hill-an accomplished guitarist for years, said let's go to Campbell.  Cannot remember the guys names but they were extremely knowledgeable about everything music.  I told them I had $500 to spend.  He reaches for this guitar behind the display case and pulls this beautiful gloss finished, Mahogany top and sides Dreadnaught and said try this.  I knew about 6-8 chords, all cowboy, but could play several songs and started to play one of Alan's songs. I then tried an arpeggio song, Suite Madame Blue-Styx and it was on!  I'll take it!  Fast forward to 2021 and, my wife and I, are reeling from purchasing two of 50 made, Martin Custom Shop OMCE Blue Edge Burst acoustics.

I was trolling Reverb, GC, and other sites and this gorgeous Blue acoustic came up.  What was that on the fretboard?  Man, it has this beautiful blueish gray gradation top and it's a Takamine with a rose imbedded into the fretboard with mop thorns and stunning abalone purfling.  Further reading and LOOKING and I knew as soon as I showed this one to her it was on again.  Takamine is one of the world's great guitar makers.  I had a F series 12 string from the "lawsuit" era that I played in weddings and so on in the mid 80's.  We had to have that "Blue Rose"!!!!  So, when I am asked abut my shirt I show my picture of the "Blue Rose" and that's all it takes.  Those who know Takamine, KNOW!  This shirt is wicking and feels so smooth and comfortable. SO YES, I LOVE THIS SHIRT, I AM PROUD TO WEAR IT AND EQUALLY PROUD TO OWN A LTD TAKAMINE.  MY "TAK" IS BLUE, HOW ABOUT YOU?!

And, I have actually found, after all these years, an F349 and an F369(All solid Rosewood) on Reverb.  My "buy it now" finger is severely itching!!!
