TSP158C/TSP158C-12 Demo by Jake Allen

Guitarist Jake Allen demonstrates the new additions to the Takamine Thinline Series, the TSP158C and TSP158C-12. Available in See Thru Black Gloss and See Thru Red Gloss in both 6-string and 12-string versions, the rich and articulate tones of these guitars are shown off by Jake in both a miked acoustic performance and while plugged in through their CT3N electronics. Handmade in Japan, the TSP158C and TSP158C-12 feature a solid spruce top, arched maple back and maple sides, an ebony fingerboard, and offer the comfort and ease on stage that every guitarist desires, making them great for singer-songwriters, worship artists, and just about any style of music where a terrific acoustic guitar is a necessity.

Very nice thinline acoustics!  Takamine has definitely up'd their quality game.  I preferred the timbre and and tone of the six string, however.  The 12 string sounded really shallow, but that can be expected with anything smaller than a dreadnought or jumbo body.

Pretty Sweet!
