About Me:

Anker has been kept from the stage during Covid times & only recently resumed live performances. When his 2 rescued Pitties aren’t needing a walk, he has expanded his hosting duties with New Jersey’s longest running open mic from the cozy atmosphere of Grover’s Mill Coffee House (West Windsor, NJ) to a weekly nationwide Zoom gathering. Anker has also performed for Princeton, NJ’s “Bayard Rustin Center for Justice” where he has shared programming with John Easdale of Dramarama & Senator Al Franken.

Anker’s last 2 projects have been part of the “deLise Sessions”. This is an ongoing series of singles recorded with Dr. Louis DeLise (Cherry Hill, NJ – Patti Labelle, Robert Hazard, Carlos Santana, etc.) & mastered by Grammy winning engineer Alan Douches.

“Dust” was the first single. PleasePassTheIndie.com said “Dust” puts words of wisdom to music. Sometimes things do not work out the way we hoped but we can move forward. You will find yourself blowing off the dust of disappointments while embracing the present.

The second single from the “deLise Sessions” was praised by IndieSpoonful.com. “Moments” is a song that can change your mood, lift your spirits, empower & enlighten. It makes you feel like you just heard something that has changed your attitude & brightened your day. In these tumultuous times, Anker’s chorus of “Rise up – make it everlasting. Rise up – everyday” couldn’t deliver a better message.
