Takamine

Once again Summer is on the horizon - and once again Takamine signature artist Toby Keith and tour sponsor Ford Trucks are teaming up for another series of sold-out North American dates. This year's outing, appropriately branded the "Interstates and Tailgates" tour, will kick off May 21st in Louisville for a series of 24 shows (so far) including the red hot Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas.

As always, Toby's #1 acoustic will be his signature model Takamine EF250TK, which he and long-time guitar tech Ripp Mayes helped design back in 2010. As you might suspect, when it comes to tools of the trade, be it trucks, musicians or instruments, Toby goes for the absolute best available. Considering he's on Forbes Magazine's list of highest earning entertainers - again - it's difficult to argue with the man's choices. As Toby once said, "I can afford any guitar I want. Takamine is the guitar I need."
