Come See Takamine at Summer NAMM (July 13-15)

If you've never been to Music City USA before, heading to Nashville for the Summer NAMM Show might be a surprising treat for you. Much more than just a country music Mecca, Nashville is the epicenter of the songwriting universe for all genres of music, and it's a fitting place for the NAMM organization to hold its annual summer show. Unlike the Winter NAMM Show held in January in Anaheim, CA, Summer NAMM is a more casual and low-key affair, with smaller crowds and a better environment to check out the latest instruments and audio gear.

NAMM is a trade organization, and typically it is not open to the public. But at Summer NAMM in Nashville, the organization has been hosting a "Music Industry Day", which happens this year on Saturday July 15. Per the NAMM site, inexpensive day passes can be purchased by "Musicians, songwriters and enthusiasts, Music association representatives, Music technologists, Studio employees, House of worship representatives, Music educators, and Music students." That means you! The day pass is only $10 in advance or $20 on the day of the event.

Takamine will be there at booth 1231 along with our distribution partner in the US, ESP Guitars. At the show, we'll be debuting a number of very exciting new models, including additions to our Limited Edition and TT Series created at our Pro Series facility in Japan. Additionally, Takamine will have a variety of great guitars from our affordable G Series and much more. After more than 55 years building some of the world's most respected acoustic and acoustic-electric instruments, Takamine has become a prime destination for all Summer NAMM Show attendees, and we look forward to seeing you there!
