Takamine Guitars Shows G Series GD37CE and GD37CE-12 at NAMM 2024

ANAHEIM, CA (JANUARY 25, 2024) – Takamine Guitars (NAMM Booth 208A/B) is showing a pair of recent additions to their popular G Series guitars with the GD37CE and GD37CE-12. The two dreadnought acoustic-electric guitars, respectively 6-string and 12-string, are offered in a distinctive gloss Pearl White finish.

“We created the two new GD37CE models to cover a wide range of musical styles,” says Tom Watters, Director Product Development for Takamine Guitars. “They offer the great value that musicians find throughout Takamine’s G Series instruments. But in addition to the eye-grabbing appeal of the Pearl White finish that draws attention onstage, these guitars deliver the shimmering, punchy, and bold sound that today’s players want.”

The GD37CE and its 12-string counterpart GD37CE-12 are dreadnought guitars in Pearl White finish that offer solid spruce top and maple back and sides, ivoroid binding over the body, fingerboard, and headstock, gold hardware, pearl dot inlays, and a beautiful abalone rosette. Both guitars employ Takamine’s split-saddle bridge design, allowing the instrument to offer excellent intonation.

For stage and recording purposes, the GD37CE and GD37CE-12 come fitted with Takamine’s acclaimed TP-3G electronics with three-band EQ, gain, and built-in tuner. A sturdy padded gig bag is also included. Both of the GD37CE and GD37CE-12 are available now at Takamine dealers.
