It’s once again time to put on your boots and pull up a seat for what’s already being spoken about as one of the hottest concert tickets of the year: Garth Brooks’ "Blame It All On My Roots" arena Tour, which kicked off in Indianapolis last month, is now heading for locales including Denver, CO, Rosemont, IL, and Orlando, FL, with more dates sure to come. This tour marks Garth’s return to arena venues, mirroring his legendary 1990s sets and featuring his classic in-the-round stage.

If the first series of shows in Indiana are any indication, the tour is going to be one of the most fun and rewarding for Garth’s legions of fans in years. Plus, those who are lucky enough to be on hand for one of these concerts might also be part of history… these concerts will also serve as the foundation for a new live album, which just might include you in the crowd.

As to what Takamine guitars Garth will be using on the tour, if the first run of shows at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis are any indication, Garth is primarily turning to the instrument most closely associated with him: his Signature Series GB7C. In other news from the Garth Brooks universe, last week he and his talented wife Trisha Yearwood announced that they’re honoring the recent tragic passing of Dolly Parton in a way that celebrates both her remarkable life and her passion for helping children. Brooks and Yearwood’s “Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk” have declared September 25 as “Dolly Day.” The choice of 9/25 is an appropriate nod to Parton’s iconic hit “9 to 5.” 

On that day, Friends in Low Places will donate its entire income for the day to children's literacy. Plus, the couple plans to make “Dolly Day” an annual event at FILP, as it should be.
