Go Play Outside Winners

Go Play Outside Contest: The Winners

As spring 2021 turned to summer, after more than a year of pandemic restrictions, we thought it would be great to host a giveaway contest where people could take their Takamine guitars to the great outdoors and enjoy playing some music. It turns out we were right, and we received dozens and dozens of amazing entries, with people playing their guitars everywhere from beaches to parks to rivers to backyards and more. Selecting the winners was a challenging process for our judging panel, but our grand prize winner and runners-up shown below all proved that no matter what style of music you play, from classical to country to folk to indie rock and beyond, Takamine is the right guitar for the job.

Grand Prize Winner: Paride Pignotti

Doing a piece called “Abuela’s Waltz” and using a Takamine TH90 from our Classical/Hirade Series, Paride’s performance was simply outstanding. All of the elements that we were looking for were there: a beautiful song played with expertise, with terrific sound quality, and an amazing outdoor setting on the banks of a meandering river. We could listen to Paride play all day! Hopefully he’ll get some more inspiration from his prize… a Takamine Pro Series CP3 NYK (a $1,749.99 value) along with a Takamine leather guitar strap, a set of D’Addario strings, and a Takamine t-shirt to wear for his next video.

Here’s the rest of our Top Ten submissions!
