Paride Pignotti: "Charles River"

In Summer 2021, when we held our "Go Play Outside" contest, the winner ended up being Paride Pignotti, a young Italian virtuoso who was studying for his Master's degree in Jazz at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He created his winning entry there on the banks of the Charles River, and his prize was a handcrafted Takamine Pro Series CP3 NYK. In return, Paride took his prize guitar and composed and recorded this absolutely stunning tune that he calls "Charles River", and it's worth watching for anyone who wants to be inspired to become a better musician. The CP3 NYK combines a compact New Yorker body shape with a solid red cedar top and koa back and sides that generates a warm and articulate sound that's perfect for fingerstyle players.
