    Phenomenal guitar player Jake Allen is here to demo the Takamine Thermal Top Series EF740FS TT. Takamine's Japan-crafted Thermal Top guitars are made by treating the spruce top with high heat in a controlled environment, resulting in a great played-in sound much like a vintage instrument. The EF740FS TT has a great throaty voice due to the solid sapele back and sides, and a 12-fret neck joint. The mahogany neck features a distinctive slot headstock, an ebony fingerboard and simple abalone dots. The neck is a wide 47.5 mm low-profile contour, making it great for acoustic blues and fingerstyle.
