Takamine Guitars is proud to welcome members of the acclaimed global musica mexicana powerhouse band Fuerza Regida to our renowned roster of endorsed artists. Three members of the band — bass player/producer Moisés López, guitarist Samuel Jáimez, and guitarist Khrystian Ramos — are all now officially part of the Takamine artist family.
Fuerza Regida said in a statement, “Takamine has accompanied us since the beginning of our career, and now it’s time to make it official. We can proudly say we are part of the Takamine family.”
If you have yet to hear about Fuerza Regida, perhaps this will give you some context to better understand this outstanding band’s success: eight of their studio albums — Del Barrio Hasta Aquí (2019), Adicto (2020), Otro Pedo, Otro Mundo (2020), Del Barrio Hasta Aquí, Vol. 2 (2021), Pa Que Hablen (2022), Sigan Hablando (2022), Pa Las Baby's y Belikeada (2023), and 111xpantia (2025) — have peaked within the top 10 of the US Regional Mexican Albums chart.
As if that wasn’t enough, the band has placed twelve albums on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart and placed six albums on the Billboard 200, with songs appearing on both the US Billboard Hot 100 and the Mexico Songs charts. Fuerza Regida have earned four Billboard Music Awards, including three wins for Top Duo/Group, seven Billboard Latin Music Awards, an iHeart Radio Award, an American Music Award, and one Latin American Music Award.
A Modern Mexican-American Success Story
Like many bands, when Fuerza Regida was formed in 2015 in San Bernardino, California, they started off as a cover band. Within a couple of years, they got noticed via their YouTube videos, and began composing their own songs. They soon built an audience of thousands of subscribers, and in the years since have topped the US Regional Mexican Airplay chart four times, with seven million audience impressions.
Primarily known as a norteño and sierreño and corridos band, Fuerza Regida have musical influences that range from regional Mexican music artists Ariel Camacho and Hijos de Barrón to Metallica. Their signature sound blends Mexican traditions while continuing to push boundaries with each release — incorporating hip hop, reggaeton, EDM, trap, and even elements of country along the way.

Bass player Moisés López, who also serves as the band’s producer, is a key creative architect of Fuerza Regida. In addition to bass guitar, López plays the tololoche — a traditional Mexican upright bass integral to the group's distinctive sound. His work on the band's record-breaking album 111xpantia — which launched at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 — allowed it to become the highest-charting Spanish-language album in history by a duo or group. López plays the Takamine G Series GB30CE.

Samuel Jáimez is one of the founding members of Fuerza Regida, and is one of the creative pillars behind the group's signature sound. He handles backing vocals and 12-string guitar. Jáimez plays the iconic Takamine Legacy Series EF381DX.

Another co-founding member of Fuerza Regida is Khrystian Ramos, who handles rhythm guitar and backing vocals. You’ll see Ramos exhibiting technical precision using the legendary Takamine Legacy Series EF341SC.
