Guitar of the Month:
G Series GD35CE and GD35CE-12

Available this month via the Takamine USA site or your Takamine dealer, the first thing you’ll notice about the new GD35CE and GD35CE-12 is their striking brilliant Pearl White finish. They feature black/white/black binding over the body, fingerboard, and headstock, gold hardware, pearl dot inlays, and a beautiful abalone rosette. Perhaps more importantly, the sound is pure Takamine dreadnought; balanced, aggressive, yet totally in control dynamically. Takamine Artist Spotlight: Williams Honor

"There isn't any artist, tour, writing or recording session where my Takamine twelve isn't my first grab. It accompanies me everywhere I go and is always the blueprint mechanism for anything I'm working on. From my first record, Mr. Reality in 1992 (produced by Danny Kortchmar) to my current project, Williams Honor, the big and balanced sound of the EF381SC has been the cornerstone. I cherish the sound of that guitar.” - Gordon Brown, Williams Honor

Acoustic Guitar Magazine Reviews the Thermal Top CRN-TS1

We were honored with this fantastic review of the Thermal Top Series CRN-TS1 in the respected Acoustic Guitar Magazine’s Nov/Dec 2022 issue. Reviewer Emile Menasche writes, "If the Takamine handles the subtle and expressive stuff with grace, it really comes to life when you roll up your sleeves and strum big chords. Think Americana, country rock—any genre where you want, say, an open G chord to jangle at the top and punch hard at the bottom. The tone is big and muscular, but it’s lean muscle, with no tubby undertones to muddy the sound. Thanks to the fretboard radius, barre chords are especially easy to play, and they sound huge. With all six strings vibrating clearly, a barred F rings like an open E."
