Ashlee Valenzuela on the G Series GD74CE-12U

Enjoy this demo of the very unique Takamine G Series GD74CE-12U by talented guitarist Ashlee Valenzuela. Unlike most 12-string guitars, this one was designed for a special stringing style using two sets of six strings, as opposed to a standard 12-string set which has pairs that are an octave apart for the lowest four string pairs. This style is popular in many styles of regional Mexican music. The added string gauge increases string tension, but the GD74CE-12U (the "U" is for unison) has a reinforced spruce top that is double-x braced to handle the additional string load, while projecting with clarity and sweetness via a flame maple body. Also includes powerful TP-3G electronics.

Introducing Grenon

By age 14, Kacie Grenon was performing original material everywhere from big stages as an opener for national touring acts to busking on the streets of Boston. At 16, Grenon — now known by last name only — and her punk-inspired indie rock band were playing local fairs, festivals, and watering holes throughout New England. Now she’s 22, has a terrific upcoming EP, and is using a rare, very special limited edition Takamine to create her outstanding music.

G Series GN37CE Demo by Jake Allen

Some say that Jake Allen is just too good of a guitarist; we think that’s not really possible. Still, he definitely sounds spectacular on the GN37CE, which offers Takamine’s distinctive Pearl White finish in our popular, great-sounding NEX cutaway shape. It features a solid spruce top, and maple back and sides for a smooth and glossy sounding guitar that will fit great on stages anywhere, and with any genre of music. The GN37CE is easy to amplify when needed, as it comes with our legendary TP-3G electronics.
